Configuration of Crestron Systems
Day One of this 2-day class will cover wiring, connecting, installing, loading, testing, and troubleshooting a Crestron control system. This allows the student to build and load complete programs, as well as system testing and AV device communication. Day Two will cover an introduction to Simpl Windows and Vision Tools Pro-e where the student will change an IR driver and a serial device from an existing program.
This 2-day class could be followed by installers who are not interested in becoming Crestron programmers.
Essentials of Crestron Programming (Prerequisite: Configuration of Crestron Systems)
Our Essentials of Crestron Programming class is designed to give the Crestron programmer a comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of our SIMPL Windows and Vision Tools Pro-e programming environment. When completed, the student will have the knowledge required to program a complete Crestron control system.
Intermediate Crestron Programming (Prerequisite: Essentials of Crestron Programming)
Intermediate Crestron Programming is the second step in your quest for Crestron Certification. We will teach you how to use advanced symbols in SIMPL Windows, work with compact flash cards and create multi-mode touchpanels. We will also perform advanced troubleshooting and introduce you to SIMPL+.
Programming for Certification (Prerequisite: Intermediate Crestron Programming)
The Programming for Certification course will teach you our SIMPL+ language and cover some advanced Crestron topics. After this class you will be able to master just about any Crestron programming challenges you encounter.
Students will receive an invitation after the course to become a ”Crestron Certified Programmer“. Students can apply for an exam to complete at home and submit it within 3 months for final Crestron Certification.
SystemBuilder Training (Prerequisite: Essentials of Crestron Programming)
The class begins with a brief review of the Essentials class, while students assemble a basic A/V system in SystemBuilder. Students will continue to expand this project using custom logic as more advanced features and techniques are introduced to the class. On Day 2, more challenging logic examples are discussed along with advanced tips and techniques, and students will continue to expand their project. Using this hands-on approach assures students will gain a thorough understanding of the advanced techniques that are taught in this class.
This class is the ideal way to increase proficiency and productivity in programming control systems using SystemBuilder, enabling you to program more systems in less time.
Lighting control systems (Prerequisite: Essentials of Crestron Programming)
This 2-day class teaches the design, installation and programming of the Crestron Lighting Control System. Design covers both single room solutions as well as whole-house solutions. The Crestron Lighting Control Software D3Pro will teach you how to configure and program the lighting system.
